Indianapolis-based Music for All has announced most of the high school musicians, from all 50 states and the District of Columbia, who will participate in the 2013 Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena, Calif., as members of the Bands of America Honor Band. This happens only once every four years!

- John Austin Lauer – Morton H.S., Morton, IL (Alto Saxophone)
- Jeremy Moser – Dunlap H.S., Peoria, IL (Percussion)

We assume, because many schools on the list are not located in the city listed by Music for All, that the towns refer to the residences of the students. For example, there is no “Atholton High School” in either Clarksville or Laurel, but there’s one in Columbia. We’re trying to sort the details out right now, and if our assumption is incorrect, we’ll issue a correction.
