Students of Plainfield High School (Central Campus) were scheduled to perform the musical Singin’ in the Rain tonight, tomorrow and Sunday in the high school auditorium, the curtain going up at 7 pm tonight and Saturday, and at 2 pm for Sunday’s performance.
However, all Plainfield District 202 schools were closed today following the heavy rains that flooded many roads in northern Illinois this week, and we have not been able to contact the school to determine if the musical was still scheduled to go on.
For the record, Plainfield North High School performed Guys and Dolls, earlier this spring (March 15-17).
