A school bus carrying 11 students bound for Pikesville Middle School in Baltimore County, Md., overturned Friday morning. Five students and the driver were transported to local hospitals with minor injuries, the Baltimore Sun reports.
Parents retrieved six other students who were on board the bus, and no injuries were reported for these students.
No other vehicles were involved, and the cause of the accident is said to be under investigation. WBAL-TV (NBC affiliate) reports that the bus left the road and overturned in a ditch on Greenspring Avenue.
