Climate summit: Obama pushes for a deal

President Obama is in Copenhagen, at the U.N. Climate Summit, and CNN reports that he is “working overtime,” scheduling meetings with the Chinese delegation and others, in hopes of forging agreements about emissions standards and climate policy, CNN reports.

“Now, I believe, it’s the time for the nations and the people of the world to come behind a common purpose,” the president said. “We are ready to get this done today, but there has to be movement on all sides.”
