We recently passed along a story out of California involving schools that were training very young students to surf the Internet safely. We added to that story by providing references to the (cyber)bullying laws in Maryland and Illinois.
Note that both states have very specific laws on the books when it comes to how schools need to handle incidents of bullying and cyberbullying.
But the state of the laws does not address the real issue, which is how to identify that someone is potentially a victim of bullying or a bully, and where to get help. WBAL-TV (NBC affiliate) in Baltimore recently provided some helpful links that we would like to pass along at this time.

Safe Schools Improvement Act (under consideration in Congress)
