Two male students at Clemens High School in Schertz, Texas, near San Antonio, were taken into custody after allegedly making threats to “shoot up” their school, police said, ABC News reports.
One student reportedly talked about carrying out a shooting, while the other suggested he could supply weapons. A classmate reported the comments to school administrators, and video evidence supported the charges.
Both boys face third-degree felony charges for making terroristic threats and were transported to the Guadalupe County Juvenile Detention Center.
The arrests came just a day after a mass shooting at a Minneapolis Catholic school left two students dead and 18 others injured.
