Snow keeps piling up, temps keep falling

-

It’s cold out there.

Wednesday morning rush hour was a nightmare, and flights into and out of O’Hare were delayed or canceled, following snowfall Tuesday. By the time the snow stopped, up to 8 inches were expected south of I-80, with 3 to 5 inches falling in northern Cook County.

Wind gusts of about 30 mph were also expected Wednesday night, and with temps of about -7 degrees, windchills will be dangerously cold at about -30 degrees, or so.
